"As soon as I moved to Lower Barn, I understood why a friend had kept suggesting that I go and have a look around and why people had relocated with Clair from Surrey down to Sussex when she moved yards. The atmosphere makes life a joy for horses and owners, the things that really stand out for me are how calm and relaxed everything is at the same time as being consistently professional and fun. I guess this is down to Claire's years of experience with horses (and owners), positive attitude to life and sense of humour. I moved in nearly 3 years ago with a new horse (2 massive changes in one go !) and we both felt welcome and at home straight away, my mare has blossomed and looks fantastic.
Claire has a knack of providing the right level of support ta the right time and in a discrete way. Lots of yards promise to tailor care to individual horse and owner's needs, Claire and the team really do deliver this.

"This is a wonderful yard where the horse's individual needs and requirements are always considered. Claire looks after the horses as if they were her own and I think loves them as if they were too. Whenever i go and see my horses they are happy and everything is perfect. Old water not renewed, feet not picked out and dirty beds are things commonly found in livery yards - but not this one !
The school surface i good in all weather and the paddocks and fencing are well maintained. My horses can be quite sharp to lead and a little quirky in the stable, but this has never caused the slightest problem to Claire, who i think just finds them amusing. All in all I could not recommend the yard more highly."
